Hotshots Student Videos
The Hotshots programme was developed to assist young people to communicate and present information through the medium of video.
It introduced young people to:
- the art of effective storytelling
- processes such as scripting, preparing question lines, on-screen interviewing and reporting techniques
- the professional use of video, sound and lighting equipment
- offline and online editing
- sound mixing and mastering
- release rights and appearance licensing
- the role of the editor.
