Pig organ transplants

In this video conference, find out why and how we might use pig organs to help people.

Join Supervader and participants from Wellington’s 2006 Kids’ Conference as they learn about using pig organs for transplants.

When tissue or organs are transplanted from one species to another, this is called xenotransplantation. This technique was used to save the lives of Robert Pennington and Jim Finn.
