Darwin’s theory of evolution by natural selection has been described as one of the most important ideas in human history. Darwin’s book The Origin of Species was published 150 years ago, and researchers are still looking at impacts of his research today.

David Penny, Paul Rainey and Mike Hendy, from the Alan Wilson Centre for Molecular Ecology and Evolution, and science historian Ruth Barton discuss the on-going impact of Darwin’s ideas.
